PSE emergency lighting system.

The Idea Was born out of the Christchurch earthquake. On that morning I woke up and the first thing I thought of was my kids, I leaped out of bed got  to the end of bed then bang 'pitch black' no power. After the earthquake the rise of the sun and a little light seemed to give some relief.

Power did not return for five days to our house so i had some lights temporary hooked up on batteries in our house. That week I spent a lot of it helping people out and getting alarms that had lost power back up and running. Talking to people I found everyone had the same story they took shelter and the when it all stopped people went looking of touches and cell phones in the dark just to give them a little light.

The lights i had hooked up worked well for me I carry a lot of batteries and could keep them running for a while but had to change batteries often, not much good to the general public. Upon mentioning the idea to clients and realizing this is something people where really interested I have refined system to suit.
